Tourism Center

     The Colorado Environmental Tourism Center reflects the local material, architecture, and heritage of both Colorado and Denver. The "client" had specifically listed program requirements down to square footage, certain adjacencies, as well as specific ceiling heights. The facility itself houses a gallery, library, offices, as well as space for lectures.

     This project is unique in nature because it is a collaborative studio with Dar-Al-Hekma University(DAH) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Each student was teamed up with an interior design student at DAH. There were several phases of submittals and communication between the two schools and the professor of the studio at DAH was present for the final jury. This studio was also heavily focused on black and white representation which was presented through sheets instead of boards.
